I have a cold… AGAIN

I swear I can count on my fingers the number of times this year I have been able to breathe through my nose. Where is my immune system? On vacatation in New Zealand yep, that’s where it is. I probably didn’t help that I did some fall cleaning and stirred up loads of dust. I was quite literally sneezing for 5 minutes straight, nonstop, awful. I’ll have a shiny red nose like Rudolph if this keeps up.

Thinking of Christmas, we finally got the Christmas tree up, and lit. Now here’s a good question. Which is more ecologically sound, live tree or fake tree? You have to chop down the live tree, but the fake tree will never decompose… ever. Hmm. I always like the live tree. It has a special smell, that in my mind is intrinsically connected to the holiday.

I went back to the funny Indian restaurant this evening. This time with my fairy godmother, Margaret.
“Can I have a glass of water?”
“If the well’s not dry…”
*blink blink* “and the rope’s not broken.”
We all needed some space from Ian, who is currently making Hell. He is very hard to be around right now. I hope it is a phase. I pray it is a phase. Oh please let it be a phase! yea.. I don’t feel like talking about it. My brother… the hobbit.

Right now I am hiding from my Gov’t book, which has grown legs and has been chasing me about the house, biting at my ankles. Back! Back! Foul creature. It is like some poor, wounded, infected animal that I feel both pity and contempt for. I’ll go off and put it to sleep now.
