Pirates Arrr COOL!

So I have digging through my old music and I am amazed at some of the music that managed to get itself burned. Right now I am listening to this spooky accordion instrumental thing and earlier the peppiest singing I have ever heard. I was one crazy middle schooler. I think this was that time I discovered the wonder of mp3. And there was a transition from midi to mp3. Does anyone here other than me remember what a midi file is anymore. (caught in wave of nostalgia) It was a time when all I wanted from a music player was the ability to make a playlist and not have to click each song to play it.

  1. I’ll have to burn you a CD someday of some of my favorite music.

And yes. Pirates ARRRR cool. :)

I started off music creation on my PC making MIDI files like 5 years ago. I still do sometimes just for shits n giggles. I had the same transition from midi to MP3.

Also, MIDI isn’t out of style just yet.

I have a massive MIDI archive. Or had. Still, they’re GREAT. And hilarious to listen to movie themes in MIDI.
