Steve Irwin died yesterday.
The wildlife presenter was filming a documentary off the coast of Australia today (04.08.06) when a stingray attacked him, using its poisonous barb to pierce his chest.
According to reports, paramedics flew out to the Great Barrier Reef – the scene of the tragedy – to treat him but it was too late.

I heard about that. Sad.
I hadn’t heard, thanks for telling. ^^;
It’s amazing, you’re watching everything he does and think, “Wow, he could kill himself doing that.” And yet, it’s a little surreal that it actually happened. I’m actually really sad.
yea me too. He really loved the animals. I know that sounds corny but it’s true.
That man loved animals more than most people could understand. I really think out of all of it that he’d want to make sure no one blamed the Manta Ray or anything. He spent hours on end talking about how he’s the intruder in their environment, and I don’t think he would want his death even to discourage people from interacting with animals. Accidents Happen.
However, now my Croc. Hunter jokes are not funny.
